Tim Brown “2021 Honor Roll”
Contributes to the quality of health and performance of athletes

Brownie, as we know him, has probably worked on Kelly longer than any surfer we know.
Chiropractor to the stars, Dr. Tim Brown began surfing at age four and never looked back. After a sports career that included playing college football at University of Redlands, beach volleyball and, of course, surfing, Brown saw first-hand the not-so-glamourous side of sports — injuries. After recognizing the functional imbalances that led to the cause of most injuries, Brown decided to become a sports doctor with aims to contribute to the quality of health and performance of athletes. A sports chiropractic specialist for more than 35 years, Brown aimed to improve the mobility and flexibility of World Tour surfers for decades. He is the founding director of sports medicine for the Associate of Volleyball Professionals, an also works with athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and PGA.

Brownie is still at the top of his game, seen here working on Filipe Toledo at the US Open of Surfing.
